The changes the article said would appear in QuickTime 2.1 have been postponed until a later release of QuickTime, so the sample code was changed to compile with the existing Universal Headers. The changes were minor: all references to the NoteRequestInfo structure were removed, and the "reserved" field of the MusicMIDIPacket structure was ignored in the read hook routine.
